We were thrilled to be invited to the official launch of Grander Together's event on November 29th, celebrating intergenerational learning and sustainability.
Our booth was all about going back to basics! We showcased how the "old ways"—the practical skills and sustainable habits passed down through generations—are exactly what we need for a greener future.
A huge shout-out to our 3 amazing senior mentors- Ms. Pearl Yang, Ms. Sek Yong Ying and Ms. Ng Kim Yong. Their hands-on guidance was the highlight for so many participants.
Our activity booths comprised of-
-Gardening: Sowing seeds for kang kong and pok choy (20 pots sowed!).
-Bokashi Composting: Learning to turn food waste into compost.
-Echoes of Yesteryears Game: Our fun memory game that led to 17 pledges for zero waste!
The energy was fantastic! Attendees loved getting their hands dirty and connecting with our seniors. The popularity of the Echoes of Yesteryears game proves that a little fun can inspire a lot of commitment!
We're proud to champion a purposeful and connected community rooted in sustainable "grand wisdom."
