Pillar 1 • Decentralised Solutions

Food Resilience as a Community Effort

Rejuvrth has worked with Singapore's community gardens since the landmark Tanjong Rhu Community Composting Project, which diverted nearly 18,000 kg of food waste and reached thousands of residents. Through the Community Gardens Commons programme, Rejuvrth hosts a network of community gardens to address operational concerns and engage residents for knowledge exchange.

The initiative has interacted with more than 25 gardens and has been part of the Kinship collective at Goodman Arts Centre, Mountbatten. Rejuvrth also hosts RAFT (Regional Agri-Food Transition network) under Catalyst Now, connecting farmers and gardens with Singapore's agri-food innovators.
